The Manhattan Libertarian Party held its 2019 Convention on April 9, 2019. Approximately 40 people were in attendance. Convention attendees “heard outstanding speeches from Matt Welsh of Reason and Larry Sharpe,” said Mark Axinn, Treasurer. “Thanks to all who organized a terrific evening.”
The following officers were re-elected: Aaron Commey as Chair, Gil Midonnet as Secretary, Mark Axinn as Treasurer, Ilya Schwartzburg as State Committee representative, David Fite as Director of Events, Rebecca Lau as Director of Media, and Anthony Pellegrino as Political Director.
“I am happy to see some returning officers and excited to welcome our new officers as we embark on the next leg of our journey,” said Aaron Commey, Chair. “We are determined to grow an organized, productive, and powerful Libertarian presence inside the largest city in the United States.”
