WHITE PLAINS, NEW YORK – The Libertarian Party of New York will hold an in-person meeting in November. Hosted by the Westchester County Libertarian Party, the event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We will discuss strategies for growing the Libertarian Party in New York.
LPNY State Chair Mark Glogowski said, “I believe 2018 will be the year the LPNY becomes an officially recognized political party. In that respect, this is perhaps the most important meeting you will attend in the next twelve months.”
The purpose of the meeting is to begin the preparation for the 2018 gubernatorial campaign and other issues including platform, bylaws, National Libertarian Party convention and the LPNY delegate selection criteria, candidate considerations (search, vetting, and selection), petitioning strategy, training, publicity, budgeting, fundraising, volunteers and the volunteer committee, LPNY membership, Libertarian Party voter enrollment, chapter development, and others. A formal State Committee meeting will occur from 3:30 until 4:30 PM, followed by a wrap-up and close at 5 PM.
