On Sunday, March 19, 2023, Maura Botsford was appointed Events Coordinator for the LPNY. She is the current Secretary of the Erie County Libertarian Party (since 2020) and is a Member-At-Large of the LPNY Executive Committee.
She said, “I am so excited to be stepping into the role of Events Coordinator for the LPNY. Since 2018 I’ve spent hundreds of hours planning events with Libertarian candidates across the state and fundraising for my county committee, while serving on the state committee as well. I believe that over the next few years we have a lot of potential to make a significant impact on legislation and current events—which stems from the engagement of not only Libertarians, but voters all across New York. I’d love to work with all of you to get involved locally and bring libertarian events to your area, please do not hesitate to reach out with events, ideas, or if you’d like to join the committee.”
